Julian Edelman of College of San Mateo has been voted the most valuable player on the All-State region I football team selected by the California Community College Football Coaches Association in conjunction with the JC Athletic Bureau. CSM offensive lineman James Tretheway completed a sweep of top post-season honors by also being selected to the All-State first team.

The latest honors for the awesome offensive line College of San Mateo fielded the past football season are academic.Not only was the Bulldogs’ OL among the most productive in community college football, it has now been recognized as the smartest.

Two College of San Mateo sophomore offensive linemen, Alexander Reyes and James Tretheway, have been named first team All-America by J.G. Grid-Wire.
