Former CSM player Mike Solari will return to the San Francisco 49ers, who have announced his appointment as offensive line coach.
Solari won a Super Bowl ring with the 49ers in 1994 as an assistant coach. From 1992-96 he held positions coaching tight ends and assisting with offensive line duties.
Solari, 55, holds one of 16 Super Bowl rings earned by former CSM players and coaches: Bill Walsh, John Madden, Dick Vermeil, Neal Dahlen, Steve Shafer, and Bill Ring.
