Shannon McCaffrey's Sweetheart Table Design

Shannon McCaffrey, CSM floristry student, was the recipient of a second place award at the prestigious American Institute of Floral Designers’ (AIFD) 2010 Student Floral Design Competition. This competition was held in conjunction with AIFD’s 2010 National Symposium in Boston, July 3-8.  Shannon’s award was in the Centerpiece for Sweetheart Table Design category (photo).

AIFD is the floral industry’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to establishing, maintaining and recognizing the highest standard of professional floral design. The organization is at the industry’s forefront in presenting educational design programs and in designing flowers for such renowned events as the Tournament of Roses Parade, Academy Awards and Presidential Inaugurations.
