The May 7 issue of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal featured an article about CSM’s new Health and Wellness Building in its Construction, Engineering & Architecture section, “Bond money backs expansion at College of San Mateo.” The article discussed how heavily the construction industry relies on publicly funded projects during the economic downturn, citing CSM as a model example. Jose Nunez, vice chancellor, is quoted as are Faraaz Mirza, director of design with Kwan Henmi Architecture/Planning, and Bill Neimann, project director of McCarthy.
