From January 4 – 29, 2015, artwork by the College of San Mateo’s Fine Arts Club artists will be on display at Twin Pine Art Center in the Manor House, 10 Twin Pines Lane in Belmont.

The exhibit displays a wide variety of genres, with works from beginning to advanced student artists.  It includes everything from still life and landscapes to portraits and large gallery pieces, most of which are available for sale.   The gallery is open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays, 12 to 4 pm.  Meet the artists at a reception 2-4 pm on Sunday, January 11.

The Fine Arts Club is open to all students at College of San Mateo. It is run by students with the help of faculty advisor and Professor of Art Rebecca Alex. Members of the club plan and host critique groups, exhibitions, workshops and lectures; other activities include painting murals, creating websites and designing promotional materials.  In addition, the artists offer their work for sale and/or rental to members of the community.  Visit collegeofsanmateo.edu/studioart  to learn more about CSM’s studio art program
