CSM has added an exciting new adjunct faculty member to its extensive roster of working artists. Pantea Karimi is a well-established artist who works in installation art, prints, virtual reality and video projection. Her work is in public and private collections around the world. She has exhibited in Iran, Algeria, Croatia, the United Kingdom and the United States. A new exhibition of her multimedia work, “Visual Thinking: Six Ways of Picturing Knowledge,” opened recently at MIT’s Rotch Library gallery. It will be on view through December 14.
Karimi will be teaching drawing and graphic design courses in Spring 2019. She is based in Palo Alto. Check out her website to learn more about her work.
