College of San Mateo was among the first of the state’s 88 community college baseball teams to reach 20 wins on Saturday, after sweeping all three of the week’s Coast North Conference games with City College of San Francisco.

On March 18, 2023, College of San Mateo had the honor of partnering with Ivy and Pearls Foundation and the women of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. for the 32nd Annual Black College Awareness Fair. The event garnered participation from over 200 individuals who engaged in panels, HBCU and CSM tabling, music, scholarships, and other activities.

The new and free CSM Shuttle service for students begins on Monday, April 3, 2023, with hourly pick-ups and drop-offs between the Millbrae BART/Caltrain Station and CSM. Students from CSM Professor Richard Lohmann’s photography class had a unique opportunity to showcase their work in a prominent San Francisco gallery in February. The “Convergence” exhibit opened on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Canessa Gallery in San Francisco. The opening reception was followed two weeks later by an evening of engaging presentations by the student artists.
