The New England Patriots returned to normal just in time to return to the AFC championship game for the fifth year in a row.

Former Bulldog lineman Dominick Jackson carved the way for Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry and he, along with the rest of the Crimson Tide are now one win away from the national title on January 11.

Feldman (5-5) missed 45 games earlier this season with a torn meniscus and had been winless in four starts since coming off the disabled list in July. He combined with four relievers on the five-hit shutout.

Scott Feldman, Wednesday’s scheduled starting pitcher against the San Francisco Giants, grew up in Burlingame, Calif., less than a half-hour’s drive from the Giants’ picturesque home stadium by the water, AT&T Park.

CSM Bulldog Athletics alum Scott Feldman will be pitching at AT&T Park tomorrow, August 12 against the Giants. Game time is 12:45 pm. The game will be shown on KNBR 680 AM and Comcast Sports TV.

Anchoring the infield at first base is former College of San Mateo slugger O’Koyea Dickson. In his fourth season of professional baseball, Dickson is establishing himself as a legitimate prospect.

Recently, CSM grad Glen A. Paul was sworn in as Federal Marshal for Delaware, making him the highest ranking law enforcement officer for the state.

“I have always liked to compete and I have always been fiery,” Edelman said. “My dad pushed me to work and get better at baseball and football when I was younger.”

When people think of San Francisco architecture, visions of the Painted Ladies and other classic Victorians often come to mind.

The Pittsburgh Pirates drafted Paul Risso, a right-handed pitcher out of the College of San Mateo, with the 113th overall pick in the sixth round of the 1973 Major League Baseball Draft. Unfortunately, a career-ending shoulder injury in Risso’s final college game ended his big league dreams. Or so he thought.
