CSM has secured a $74,500 MESA grant (Math, Engineering, Science, Achievement) to expand services and academic support to educationally and economically disadvantaged students. The goal of the MESA program is to support student success and transfer to four-year universities for STEM majors.

The Bulldogs (2-0) kicked off their campaign at home Thursday with a 6-1 defeat of Merced in the morning, then a 20-0 five-inning, mercy-rule trouncing of Yuba in the afternoon for the landmark 300th win.

Geli, SMCCCD, and ProspectSV have been awarded a grant from the California Energy Commission to partner with CSM for the “Internet of Energy” demonstration project. The project will deploy two integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems that are expected to save the college $150,000 annually.
