The Center for Equity, Leadership, & Community will be the new home of the Promise Scholars Program, Student Life & Leadership, SparkPoint and its food pantry, Mana, Umoja, Puente, the Honors Project, and Project Change.

SMCCCD continues its implementation of a robust Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Here is the December update.

The Aspen Institute College Excellence Program today named College of San Mateo as one of 150 community colleges eligible to compete for the $1 million Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance among America’s community colleges. Based on strong and improving in student outcomes—including in learning, completion rates, employment rates and earnings, and equity—15 percent of community colleges nationwide have been invited to apply for the Aspen Prize.

Students may now designate their preferred name on SMCCCD records and in their SMCCCD email address.

PG&E has notified the District of planned power outages that impact College of San Mateo, Skyline College and the District office beginning tomorrow, Saturday, October 26, 2019. In anticipation of these outages, the College of San Mateo, Skyline College and the District office will suspend operations and close all college and District facilities effective at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019. This suspension of operations will continue until 12 a.m. (midnight) on Sunday, October 27, 2019.
