College of San Mateo is making college even more accessible by offering an expanded Promise Scholarship program. Beginning in fall 2018, first-year, full-time students can attend CSM for free and receive up to $750 towards the costs of textbooks. Promise Scholarships will pay for the fall, spring and summer terms of a student’s first year.

Creating Pathways from Youth Incarceration to Higher Education is a statewide conference to increase post-secondary education opportunities in California for young people impacted by the juvenile justice system.

Formerly known as College for Kids, the Bay Area Pathways Academy is designed to provide rising 6th to 9th grade students with summer learning opportunities and year-round impact.

New and former students can apply and enroll online at CSM’s Admissions page. Continuing students can register for courses via WebSMART now for summer session and August 16 for fall semester. Summer 2016 and fall 2016 schedules are available online via downloadable PDF formats.

Skyline College and the San Mateo County Community College District (SMCCCD) Study Abroad Program want studying abroad to be an option for any student, no matter their financial means, and so the District has developed a unique way to fund scholarships for students who wish to study abroad.

Project Change is unique and the first community college supported program in California to provide wrap around student support services, direct access to post secondary education and in-person college instruction inside juvenile youth facilities.
